LONDON-BASED TRAVEL JOURNALIST & EDITOR

I write about inspiring places on our planet and the people safeguarding them - stories about sustainable tourism, wildlife and the environment, along with a smattering of culinary culture. My work has been published in The Times, The Telegraph, Suitcase, Food & Travel, The Spectator and National Geographic Traveller. The quest for a good story has taken me from Kenya's high-altitude lakes to Cornwall's temperate rainforest; it's seen me quizzing centenarians in remote Sardinian villages about their longevity secrets, sampling climate-resilient crops with an Arizonan ethnobiologist and spear-fishing for invasive lionfish in the Dutch Antilles. Before following my wanderlust into freelance journalism in summer 2021, I was Deputy Editor of award-winning inflight magazine Atlas by Etihad, and edited a food magazine in the Caribbean. With an eye on the future of travel and how brands can do better, my work as a strategist includes producing in-depth trend reports for global foresight agency Stylus.
